The Epicenter of Industrial Lofts & Modern Spatial Design
Tribeca is internationally recognized for its iconic cast-iron architecture, historic warehouse conversions, and sprawling open-concept floor plans. From massive historic industrial spaces to modern glass-front residences, Tribeca residential properties feature expansive wall heights, exposed brick accents, and raw structural depth. Decorating a Tribeca space requires vivid abstract original paintings that brings massive visual scale, rich tactile texture, and structural confidence capable of anchoring immense architectural footprints.
Generic factory art and timid, passive canvases get completely swallowed by the raw scale and lofty proportions of downtown New York living. A Tony Hammer original isn't quiet background noise—it aggressively anchors the room, bringing the visual force, heavily layered texture, and kinetic scale required to stand alongside cutting-edge architectural design.

Institutional Provenance: The Hammer Family Heritage
Acquiring original modern art for a Tribeca collection requires real physical mastery, authentic studio provenance, and historical lineage. The Hammer fine art legacy was established directly in Manhattan by Tony’s brother, Sid Hammer. Born and raised in Manhattan, Sid was a recognized force in modern art whose technical brilliance earned him prestigious honors—including a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Rosenwald Award—alongside permanent collection placements in premier institutions, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA (The Museum of Modern Art), and the Washington Gallery.
Carrying that exact Manhattan lineage and artistic discipline forward, Tony Hammer’s original paintings represent decades of unfiltered creative evolution, physical grit, and direct studio velocity. Read more about the complete family history on our about us page.
Bypassing traditional gallery markups, collectors buy directly from the artist's studio. Tony Hammer’s work is held in private collections nationwide alongside Hollywood screenwriters, hall-of-fame athletes, world champion boxers, and high-profile figures who respect real physical presence and zero-bullshit craftsmanship.
